ABOUT THE MISSION
The love of a mother for her child is one of the fiercest on the planet. Amy Weber knows this—her mother refused to terminate her pregnancy when she was diagnosed with breast cancer, and as a result Amy has lived a happy, healthy 30 years, though sadly, 29 of them without her mom. Amy just became a mother herself, and to honor mothers everywhere, especially those fighting breast cancer, her husband (who runs the site DudetoDad.com) has launched Mrs. Dude’s Boob Fund, an effort to raise $30,000, half of which will go to cancer research and half directly to families being affected by cancer, whether for close-to-the-hospital hotel stays, or toward scholarships for kids whose school savings have been depleted by medical costs. Raising that much money takes a lot of outreach—from phone calls to fundraising events—so use your Fiesta to help make it happen and we’ll give you $500 to take Mrs. Dude’s Boob Fund a little closer to the goal.
